Thank you to our generous sponsors

The Northamptonshire Schools' Inclusion Conference 2025 is being offered free of charge to Northamptonshire Schools through the generous donations of our event sponsors.

Main event sponsor: The Great Oakley Estate

In the mid 1980’s my late father, Hugh de Capell Brooke, was the driving force to bring a new and innovative school to Corby, built on the farm at Great Oakley. The Brooke City Technology College, now known as The Brooke Weston Academy, opened its doors in 1991 to 1300 students and the school has gone on to become one of the leading state funded schools in the United Kingdom. The Brooke Weston Trust was set up and created by the de Capell Brooke and Weston families in 2008 and I am extremely proud that my father’s legacy lives on in this way, and that the Trust now operates 11 schools, educating over 10,000 young children and employing over 1000 members of staff.

The Difference

The Difference exists to tackle the social injustice whereby the most vulnerable children lose the most learning in England. We do this by raising national expertise in whole school inclusion through three levers:

People - The Difference delivers programmes to school leaders which gives them the will and skill to make lost learning fall

Practice - The Difference builds communities and knowledge around the toughest challenges in school inclusion;

Policy - The Difference drives awareness, consensus and sector adoption of policy solutions to the national lost learning crisis

We believe whole-school inclusion means all staff supporting the learning, wellbeing and safety needs of all children, so that they belong, achieve and thrive.

Over the past two years, the delivery and impact of our work with leaders from Brooke Weston  has helped to shape the trust-wide  inclusion strategy with central team members and senior leaders from every school leader in the trust participating in the Inclusive Leadership course. We are delighted to sponsor the Northamptonshire inclusion Conference as we look to recruit 30 senior leaders to form the Northamptonshire Inclusive Leadership Cohort beginning in September 2025.

Interested? Grab any of our team members on the day, and we will be delighted to talk!
