Teach First PGTA
Brand new for September 2026, NTSH are delighted to be supporting Teach First as a local partner.
Information for applicants
If you are interested in applying for the Post Graduate Teaching Apprenticship (PGTA) you should apply via the DfE website.
The course codes are:
- Biology - V900 Biology (V900) with Teach First - Find teacher training courses - GOV.UK
- Maths - U523 Mathematics (U523) with Teach First - Find teacher training courses - GOV.UK
If successful, Teach First will be in touch to arrange an interview and assess your suitability to teach. There are a number of routes into teaching, through Teach First (See Below)

Apprentices will also be recruited by Teach First and matched in region by Teach First's Regional Partnerships Manager. Once a match has been agreed, the School Partnership Agreement will be signed by the school and Teach First to finalise the agreement.
