Trained Mentors
This page is dedicated to Mentors who have completed the ECF-based Mentor Training but continue to mentor ECTs under the Early Career Training Programme from September 2025 onwards.
Mentors who are supporting an ECT 1 on the ECTP from September and have completed their two years of ECF mentor training need to be supported to understand the new ECTP and their role within it.
To support this, two key resources are available:

These resources provide an overview of the programme and support mentors with access to YouTube links of weekly overview videos that outline the curriculum content ECTs will be engaging with, as well as guidance on how mentors can prepare for their weekly interactions.
To further support mentors in understanding their role on the programme - particularly in relation to the new activity related to the diagnostic - catch-up recordings of the following two sessions are available as Youtube links below.
