We are looking for a mathematician to join our SCITT delivery from September 2023 as a Lead Subject Mentor. The role is for 8 hours per week, with flexibility.
The Lead Subject Mentor will work on the SCITT training programme to support trainees in a subject-specific area of our secondary curriculum. You’ll work with a portfolio of secondary Maths trainees to develop their subject knowledge and their subject-specific pedagogy to ensure that they achieve QTS and support them to complete their PGCE. You’ll also play a leading role in supporting and developing the mentors of trainees in the subject.
