How to register
New to the ECTP with Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub?
Step 1:
Register your ECT and Mentor for the Teach First Early Career Training Programme with the Teaching School Hub (that's us). By registering, we can ensure that the right person gets the right information and support needed to onboard.
Please note that for all 3 steps, you will need the TRN for each programme member. If the TRN is unknown, the teacher can request this through the 'find a lost TRN' - Find a lost teacher reference number (TRN)
Step 2:
Appoint an Appropriate Body
All ECTs need to be registered for an Appropriate Body service as part of the Statutory Induction. The DfE has recently published changes. Since September 2023 only Teaching School Hubs are able to provide this service.

Step 3
Register all ECTs and Mentors on the DfE Manage Training Portal.
Please ensure that ECTs, Mentors and Induction Tutors are all 'linked' together to enable the Mentor and Induction Tutor the 'audit' functionality on the online platform Brightspace.
